Alnwick Stage Musical Society

Alnwick Stage Musical Society, formed in 1986, was the brainchild of local solicitor Norman Luke and Civil Servant Paul Toward who also produced and musically directed the Society's first production, The Sound of Music, in March 1987.

As well as 'big shows' in March at Alnwick Playhouse we often put on a summer show in July which could be a concert-style performance of a variety of songs or a mini-musical like Nunsense which was performed in July 1999 and also, by popular demand, in in 2000!
Members of the society also enjoy socialising at (or after) Tuseday night rehearsals, theatre trips, barbecues or any other excuse! Contact us if you would like to find out more.
