<p>Janet Russell will lead a workshop with a special twist &#8211; exploring songs in harmony that were made for dancing. These Toe Tapping Tunes are guaranteed to get your voice, fingers and feet moving.  Learn the songs, explore and enjoy the harmonies, and if the mood seizes you &#8211; get up and dance!</p>

<p>You Can Sing Too! is an introductory workshop for anyone who would like to get into singing.  Everyone can sing, sometimes it just takes a while to discover how it works.  Simple warm ups, voice tips and techniques and lots of lovely songs for all voices. Encouraging, supportive and fun!</p>
<p>We can help you to get started, and then help you to find a regular group if you would like to keep singing.</p>

<p>Silver Singers in Wooler grew from an introductory course led by Veronica Gilbert during the spring. The choir will meet regularly from May 2012.  Everyone is welcome &#8211; no previous experience is necessary, and you don’t need to read music.  Regular singing is proven to be good for your well-being &#8211; and singing in a group  is a healthy, sociable and inexpensive pastime.</p>

<p>Silver Singers groups are open to anyone aged over 50. New members are always welcome and no experience is needed – just come along and see what singing can do for you! </p>
<p>Singing is good for your physical, mental and emotional health and well-being.  Exercise your lungs and core muscles, make your brain work and improve your memory,  make new friends and have fun laughing and singing together.</p>
<p>Seaton Sluice – Tuesdays, 10.30–12.00, with Jane Harland<br />
