The Secret of Great Singing

20,000 Voices is working with Music in the Minster to present a training day which will develop your singing voice, as well as give you tools and tricks which will enable you to continue to improve your voice.  You will also learn ways of helping those you sing with to make the most of their vocal potential.  Singing is a joyful activity with hardcore benefits, including self-confidence and inner strength.

Wednesday 13 January, 10.30 am  - 3.30 pm

Arts Centre Washington, N38 8AB

Fee: £40;  £30 for participants under 25

The training is generously subsidised by Youth Music

Alison Barton Music in the Minster's Artistic Director and a professional singer, will share her considerable expertise with the participants.  She will look at the mechanics of singing and ways to enhance your capabilities.  She will work on breath control and voice production.  The group will learn and rehearse repertoire which will stretch you to your full potential.

Alison will be joined by Clare Andrews - voice and presentation skills coach and Alan Craig, repetiteur.
