Rural Uplands - Family Music Events

Rural Uplands is a programme of vocal workshops and activities for children and adults.  All the events will take place in the upland areas in and beyond Rothbury.

The focus of the project is the culture and landscape of rural uplands areas, explored through the medium of song.

These Family Music Events are linked to our work with exisiting groups for young children and families, in Sure Start Children's centres, and within local communities.

Kathy and Jane will introduce songs and singing games that you can sing with your children everyday.  Songs for the bath, for outdoors, for journeys and many other occasions.  The sessions will be most suitable for children up to 6 years old, and adults of all ages.  All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who would like to join in with the singing.

Fees are £3 for adults, and £2 for children
