YOU CAN SING!

20,000 Voices will fill Arts Centre Washington with singing on Saturday 31 July.  The day, from 10.00 am – 5.00 pm, will be packed with workshops for all ages, vocal advice and training, family fun and a big sing finale. You will even be able to book for a 15 minute singing lesson! There will be at least 12 workshops during the day, and a choice of at least three at any time.

You don’t need any singing experience – sessions are designed for different ages, interests and abilities.  Everyone can sing – and so can YOU!  Come and discover your voice and what it can do.

Helpful hints when choosing:

Sing Together is for exploring singing in harmony in the style listed, or a variety of styles if not specified. Any age of singer over 12, unless an age limit is stated.

You Can Sing is a session for helping you to make the most of your voice - breathing, voice production. No-one will be asked to sing solo. Any age of singer over 12.

Can't Sing? Yes you Can! - easy session for beginners and shy singers.

Family Sing, Sing for Fun and Move Your Voice are designed for the age group specified - and will be lively fun sessions.  An adult must be present in the family sing session.

Voice Coaching sessions - 15 minutes.  Your own mini singing lesson!

Raise the Roof - a great way to finish the day.  Community singing for everyone.

Leaders include: Ed Aldcroft, Alison Barton, Kat Davidson, Bridie Jackson, Andrew Scott and Maggi Ballantyne
