Toe Tapping Tunes – a Singing Saturday

Posted on: May 25th, 2012

with Janet Russell

Saturday 22 September, 10.30 am  – 1.00 pm
Storey Park Centre, Morpeth

Janet Russell will lead a workshop with a special twist – exploring songs in harmony that were made for dancing. These Toe Tapping Tunes are guaranteed to get your voice, fingers and feet moving.  Learn the songs, explore and enjoy the harmonies, and if the mood seizes you – get up and dance!

Fees: £14/ £12 concessions

Forget the weekend chores and come and enjoy a good sing at one of our regular Singing Saturday workshops.  The sessions are relaxed, informal and fun.  Each workshop is a one-off and complete in itself – the perfect opportunity to try out a new style, or just enjoy a sociable sing.

Janet is a wonderful singer – and performs with Sisters Unlimited and JigJaw, as well as directing her own choirs and running workshops all over the country.  She has worked with 20,000 Voices on several occasions, and is an inspiring and encouraging vocal leader.  Click here for more information about JigJaw.  More about Janet Russell can be found here.

Singing Saturdays happen at approximately monthly intervals – look out for You Can Sing Too! and Merrie Medieval in July, Showstoppers and Off to Sunny Spain in August, and Cool Classics II in October.
